Honda is a name that needs no introduction! Its reputation is cemented worldwide as one of the leaders in automobile manufacturing. To reinvigorate the Honda brand into the public psyche, the company planned to showcase its unique range of motorbikes at the Paris Motor Show.
Honda commissioned Expo Exhibition Stands to build an elaborate booth which had to meet four primary goals:
Showcase 30 bikes in an accessible manner
Elevated focus on the Neo Sports brand
Signal a sleek and sophisticated aesthetic to visitors
Utilize touch point opportunities
Honda’s booth was not close to larger entrances, where most of the visitors congregated. So visitors had a chance to miss it if they were in the wrong lane. To circumvent this problem, we built a four-sided open entry booth.
To differentiate all seven brands of motorbikes, we designed custom podiums, which had Honda’s flagship colours.
These bike podiums used laminate panels with a reflective gloss finish. Each podium had a custom look to accentuate the brand of each bike.
Neo Sports Café was a significant touch point for Honda, to make it look less industrial and more inviting we used wooden panelling for the floors.
For Neo Sports we built an elevated podium complete with special lights
A large square-shaped hanging banner was attached. We choose white to provide a nice contrast with the dark flooring.
A 184 inch video wall was attached above the reception counter for brand presentation
We built a secluded VIP lounge to interact with high-profile clients. The entrance for the bar was visually masked using two wall pillars to create a partition.
The booth stood strong for 11 days while it was swarmed by professionals and the general public. There were no technical or engineering hiccups the entire time. This allowed the staff to utilize every engagement opportunity to its fullest, without worrying about the integrity of the display podiums.
